New Book Exposes Corruption in Tijuana Jails

TALES FROM THE TIJUANA JAILS REVEALS RAMPANT DRUGS, GUNS AND CORRUPTION --- NEW BOOK BY SAN DIEGO AUTHOR/PUBLISHER SAM WARREN --- RIOTS SEEN FROM THE INSIDE!

San Diego – Simply existing alive inside Tijuana’s notoriously corrupt jails – where riots recently broke out – was nothing short of a miracle, a living hell, and American writer/publisher Sam Warren of San Diego did it.

His startling expose of the rotten and rampant violence and corruption was first published in a two-volume set, but was recently revised and re-published in Tales From the Tijuana Jails.

Warren spent 3 years inside 3 jails/prisons in Tijuana and Baja California before criminal charges resulting from an unlawful police raid on his large, 8-bedroom  hacienda in La Playa (west of Tijuana) were dismissed.

The stench of urine, the pain of brutal beatings by sadistic guards and the elegant living by infamous drugs lords – all of which Warren saw or experienced – reeks off every page.

Some of these stories are now trickling out as a result of the recent riots in the state prison in La Mesa, east of Tijuana; but Warren’s book has eye-witness accounts with names.

“The drug lords and their henchmen lived in relative comfort . . . Once I saw (in the La Mesa prison) that one even had a Jacuzzi. They could walk around with or without their bodyguards and not worry about having their gold chains ripped off. No one in the right minds, including the guards, would fool with the drug lords,” Warren writes. The drug lords had homes, drugs and guns by bribing guards.
