Description:

This is the fifth book in the five book saga of: Dean and Egan, the Story of Two families. Very hard study of the details of how the "terrorists" work was obviously done in this book. The minds of terrorists the world over work about the same way. No matter, though, this is a book about merely murdering people to an end it still reflects the nature of terrorists.
These few involved in the terrorism claim to be IRA, but they aren't even a good "splinter group" of the revolutionaries. These men are merely murderous and greedy. They come to their ends with the aplomb of the British New Scotland Yard's finest. However, the worst of the worst evades capture until the last pages.
The end is quite dramatic and is a high point of the whole story.
During this book, there are few lags, less pointless blither, and most of it is action followed by more action. Nothing seems to be wasted words.
Someone once described it as minimalist. However, it is minimal because there was no need to embellish murdering and terror.

Review:

To write as well as Olin does, there has to be research. He does very well and in some important depth. Too bad others don't write with as many hard images, almost touch and smell them, as he does.
